Rest In It
8/3/2025
Being impulsive by nature absolutely brings struggle as I “wait” for the universe to unfold it’s responses to prayer and ponderings. The most present I have ever been was a morning I was weeding a flowerbed. Can’t say I was really even going over anything in my mind….but, with my fingers in the dirt a gentle and audible voice spoke these words in the breeze “This Was All For You”. I have to admit, it gave me goosebumps yet was the most perfect moment in my entire life. Those words were carried in a masculine tone and answered so much for me. I was able to “rest in it” with unwavering faith to bring understanding for the season of life I was slowly adapting to and the endeavors tossing around in my mind.
I’m ready once again to “rest in it” as fall quietly begins to usher in….preparations begin this week to sow initial seeds and plant bulbs & chorms to grow a “micro flower farm” of my own here at Simply Blissed n’ Blooms. The process will bring a calm to my days as the coolness arrives in the upcoming season. A season to “rest in it” and attempt to reach another goal while learning to trust in the unfolding of the journey during this piece of my life. listening more intently to the rhythm of inner instinct and rely on the trust in myself I had lost somewhere in time.
In these days and times, we can all add value to our daily lives by shutting it all down, leaning back, closing our eyes and feel our chest slowly rise & fall. That’s where we find our soul’s rhythm and it finds us. Rest in it!!B
